Colorado personhood initiative falls short

Hurray! Colorado’s Secretary of State just shot down an effort to get a personhood amendment on the November ballot. Not enough signatures. Personhood initiatives made it onto the Colorado ballot in 2008 and again in 2010 and were soundly defeated both times.


  1. It’s a good thing. So far as I’ve read nobody ever came up with a good plan for discarding the unused fertilized eggs from in vitro fertilization procedures. We would have had to build new jails for all the lab-tech murderers.
