You can’t play fetch without a smart dog

I saw this on the local news this evening and although the little boy is adorable, my props go to the dog who knows how to keep the game going.

    • Annie will go look for a ball and bring it to me, just to get me to play. She hasn’t always been great about bringing back, however. Depends on how much she wants to play. (But they are retrievers, after all.)

  1. Molly Malamute has absolutely no interest in fetching balls. We try and throw, but she races by without giving it a glance. The only time she’ll try to get a ball is when another dog understands the game and is determined to grab it. Otherwise, nah.
