Best line from last night’s debate

During last night’s Democratic presidential debate, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (NY) had a chance to drop one of the night’s best lines. If elected, she said, the first thing she’d do is “Clorox the Oval Office.” Yes!

Sure, it was rehearsed and not particularly relevant, but the humor was much appreciated by yours truly. Most of the evening just looked like a circular firing squad.

    • Yes, it was. Biden’s leading the polls, so he’s the natural target. I just hope the other candidates don’t hamstring their party’s best chance to win. I wish they’d debate the issues instead of trying to tear each other apart.

    • I’m not sure that anything Biden said or did 30-50 years ago is even relevant today. People can and do change their positions over time. But that hasn’t stopped the attacks based on those years. I want to hear positions, not attacks.
